When Lydia shared her vision for “How to Be Brave” I was immediately drawn to the story. It was inspired by her daughter’s joyful spirit during a time of global uncertainty.

Despite the world’s challenges, the book encourages bravery and a zest for life.

As the illustrator, my goal was to bring Lydia’s vision to life by capturing the delicate balance between the world’s uncertainties and the bold, joyful spirit of a child. Through a mix of vibrant colors and whimsical designs, I aimed to visually express the theme of bravery, creating images that resonate with both children and adults alike.

作為插畫家，我的目標是將林莉蒂亞的願景變為現實，捕捉世界不確定性與孩子大膽而快樂的精神之間的微妙平衡。

通過鮮豔的色彩和奇幻的設計，我希望能夠視覺化地表達勇敢的主題，創造出能夠引起兒童和成人共鳴的畫面

The sketching process for “How to Be Brave” focused on creating expressive and dynamic outlines that reflect the character’s emotions. Once the sketches were finalized, I carefully selected a vibrant color palette that balanced the story’s themes of courage and joy, bringing the illustrations to life.
